hey, friend!
I’m Kelsey
& I’m glad you’re here
My coffee is probably cold and my hair is definitely up in a messy bun, but you can bet I’m definitely waiting to hear all about who you are and anything you have to say.
My coffee is probably cold and my hair is definitely up in a messy bun, but you can bet I’m definitely waiting to hear all about who you are and anything you have to say.
I love photographing people in their happy place, simple as that - the kitchen by the farmhouse sink, the off-road trail for a picnic, by the penguin display at the zoo, or under the shade of a magnolia tree in your backyard.
Each season of life is so unique and so fleeting. Can you imagine in a few years your kids will be in school full-time or imagine what it’ll be like to be coming home from college on Christmas break? It’s a whole new world, every single morning. This business has allowed me the opportunity and privilege to listen to someone’s story and catch a glimpse of it on camera, what better job is there? My passion for photography came in large part from my Great Aunt Tess - a sweet and sassy lady always taking pictures and telling stories.
She had shelves filled with thick, leather-bound albums overflowing with the legacy of our family as far back as The Civil War. Sitting on her brown and floral printed couch, flipping through snapshots in time, listening as she recounted years of adventures, celebrations, and trials - that’s where it started.
Where the fire gets stoked is in my day to day - the two cuties and bff in my life - Derek and our kids, Judah and Karis. I’m a big fan of my sweet horse, Nöffy girl, the ministry of YoungLife, the smell of a farm in the morning (afternoon, evening…), messy buns with headbands, grace upon grace, and long naps. My days require a little bit of coffee and a whole lotta Jesus.
