Baby Griffin | A Bright In-Home Newborn Session

This family has a special place in our hearts. Josh and Cristie were the very first faces we saw when we arrived in Columbus 5 years ago. They were waiting and ready to help us unload our moving truck when we were EXHAUSTED and didn't know many people.

We were so blessed by them that first day and since then, we've had the gift of deepening our friendship with them and the joy of watching their family grow!

When big sis, Laney, was born, I had the privilege of capturing her first few hours of life while they were still at the hospital. With all the new hospital policies in place from the pandemic though, we had to adjust a bit for baby #2 and planned this cozy in-home lifestyle session instead!

This family time with new baby Griffin (and of course their sweet black lab, Mac), was so special and it was an absolute pleasure to capture it. Laney is the most adoring, excited big sister and Mac continues to be a protective big brother to both of them.

THANKFULLY, we also had the BEST helpers any photographer could ask for to help make this session go smoothly - Josh's mom and Cristie's mom were both on hand to do anything we asked! Change diapers, switch outfits, keep an energetic 2 year old full and entertained, adjust pillowcases, tuck flyaway hair, among lots of other things! I even convinced them to let me snap their pictures at the end ;)
